STYLE IDEAS: HOME OFFICE

While we've still got lots of work to do in the loft room, we're getting nearer to being ready to put some colour on the walls and start thinking about style etc.
The room will serve as my home office for my design work, and will also house Jamie's dart board (hidden away in a lovely white painted cabinet!) We imagine we'll spend a lot of time in this room, at weekends and during the evenings I'll be sat at my desk or in an armchair drawing, while Jamie practices his darts. So we want it to be a calm, relaxing room, with plenty of inspiration for me to work in.
So the colour palette we've chosen is a pretty sage green, light-coloured woods, and lots and lots of white! I've been putting together a mood board for the room and finding some examples of similar style rooms to take inspiration from. Here's what I've found so far:

I picked up a few sage coloured paint tester pots yesterday. I said I wasn't going to buy any but I couldn't resist the chance to start getting some colour on the walls! We'll only be painting one wall in the sage, and leaving the rest of the room white to keep it looking bright and clean.
Most of the furniture in this room will be the stuff from our old flat, but we need another bookshelf and a few smaller storage items & accessories (and of course, lots of plants!) so we'll be heading to IKEA some time in the near future for some shopping!
