THERE'S COLOUR ON THE WALLS

This has been the part of the process I've been MOST looking forward to so I am so excited to say that all 3 upstairs rooms now have some colour on their walls! The spare bedroom has been given a pretty sage green makeover, and the same colour has gone on the stair walls and on one of the walls up in the loft room (yep this is definitely one of my new favourite colours!)These photos were taken while the paint was still drying so excuse the patchiness! It all looks a lot better now tat its dry, which I'll reveal when the rooms are completely finished!

Our bedroom has also had a colour make-over, with a "light rain" grey on most of the walls (with some help from our lovely friend Fran!), and a Blush Pink on the chimney breast. I've also painted our head-board in the blush pink colour to add a bit of contrast on what will be a wall full of white bedroom furniture.

We're so close to being finished with these rooms now! The carpets go in on Wednesday 23rd, and in the mean time we just need to clean up the floors, and put a final undercoat and top coat on all the skirting boards, doors, door frames, stair railings.... Ok, I say "just" but the next week and a half might be a bit hectic!!
