THE LOFT IS FINALLY LOOKING WHITE

Just a quick one today! The last two weeks haven't been as productive as the first two. For various reasons we've had less time at the house as usual, and have spent some of that time on organising, measuring etc.

This Sunday was our most productive day since my last update. We very nearly finished putting the lining paper up in the loft room, and the wiring for the first floor and loft is very nearly finished too!

When we first started papering, we absolutely hated it and it didn't go too well! But I think we've slowly improved and after successfully papering slanted ceilings and around fancy door hinges and a window, a straight wall would probably be no problem at all for us now! Even with that being said, we'll be avoiding any more papering where possible in the rest of the house!

We'll be getting these jobs finished off this week, and possibly making a start on a base coat on some of the walls. We're also starting to look in to lots of decisions on the kitchen & bathroom, carpets and window dressings.
